In its structure, jojoba oil is a liquid wax (liquid wax ester) that is rich in vitamin E. The oil is similar to natural skin sebum and has the ability to regulate the sebum content in the skin. Too much sebum can cause oily skin and acne and dandruff. By using jojoba oil, cells stop producing their own sebum, as jojoba oil acts as natural skin sebum.
Jojoba oil is very useful and suitable for all skin types, especially for sensitive and problematic (acne) skin. The nourishing oil does not irritate the skin and does not cause allergies, nor does it leave an overly greasy feeling on the skin. Jojoba oil is quickly absorbed into the skin, inhibits the formation of wrinkles, regulates moisture and maintains the elasticity and flexibility of the skin.
